And Vedic Tradition
Life is meant to be lusciously lived, loved and appreciated. Life is meant to be simple. Using this mantra as a compass we can do the negotiating and navigating dance of getting ourselves out of our own way to have this lifestyle.
We talk about living consciously and mindfully-- and some of us do this for ourselves--however there are a lot of people who live consciously and mindfully for others. My question is, how many of us are really living consciously and mindfully regarding our own lives? Do you ever stop and ask yourself what is important in your life?
Nurturing ourselves, while mining and cajoling the truths that are in our hearts, and listening to them, can lead us to having a beautifully balanced life. Attaining this means taking different actions to succeed and achieve what we want in our life.
Can life really be that uncomplicated that we can ask for what we want with our intentions and reap the rewards without stretching ourselves thin and without exhausting ourselves?
Our soulful, stimulating, accessibly open and honest guest is Mallika Chopra, author of “Living with Intent” says, "That to live a life that is meaningful, inspiring and fun we must first identify our intents, grow the seeds of our deepest longings, then state them and pursue them."
Intents help us create the lives we want to live. When we consciously set an intention we put in motion a process to make it happen. All of sudden we become more aware of the people who can help us, having this cognizance we’re able to take advantage of encounters and opportunities. Our heart, soul and mind are able to notice coincidences while attracting the right teacher, right mentor and allies etc. With our intents firmly in place we start behaving as if they will happen, often at times things unfold and actually do occur.
